Team OC Home Inspections has over 50 years of combined experience in the real estate, home improvement and home inspection business! Oscar Cottrell, a certified member of ASHI, founded OC Home Care LLC in 2001.
Oscar´s extensive background includes over 30 years as a licensed HVAC Journeyman, and certified Stationary Engineer. Oscar became a certified Home Inspector in 2001 after completing the rigorous ASHI training as well as completing and passing the ASHI Standards Exam and the ASHI Code of Ethics Exam.
In 2010 Scott Cottrell, Oscar´s son, joined the OC Home Inspection team as an associate member of ASHI. He has completed a multi week on campus training, passed the National Home Inspectors exam, ASHI Standards exam, and the ASHI Code of Ethics exam making OC Home Inspections the great team it is today!
John Foley an associate member of ASHI has many years experience in residential and commercial construction with a strong background in safety. In 2012, John joined the OC Home Inspection team after passing the National Home Inspectors exam, ASHI Standards exam, and the ASHI Code of Ethics.
Randy Cottrell has been helping home owners/buys achieve their dreams for over 10 years, and has an extensive back ground in the home buying process. He is a Maryland licensed (#31929) home inspector, as well as an American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) member (#252926). He has completed and passed the ASHI “Standards and Ethics Examinations”, as well as the “National Home Inspection Examination”. Randy has completed an exhaustive training program conducted by American Home Inspectors Institute (AHIT) and continues to maintain his license and organizational memberships through completing a minimum twenty (20) annual credit hours of continuing education. He abides by the letter and intent of the ASHI Standards of Practice, as well as the ASHI Code of Ethics.
All inspections will be completed by Oscar Cottrell, Scott Cottrell or John Foley.
